Released in 1996. Film directed by Julian Schnabel about the postmodernist/neo expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Cale wrote the incidental music. A bit of the music he wrote would be used for Some Friends, a tribute to Sterling Morrison on the Walking On Locusts album.
The soundtrack album includes his version of Hallelujah.
