WOW! I've just walked home from the ABC awestruck...how is John Cale, at 64, still one of the most brilliant rock acts in the world???
I've seen Dylan, Ray Davies and the old boys, but they all seem like nostalgia fests compared to the show I've just witnessed!
The setlist had some of my fave Cale songs - an epic Big White Cloud, a hilarious Dirty Ass Rock 'n' Roll, an even funnier Pablo Picasso (Cale ad-libbed "Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole, even in Glasgow".
