Rehearsal at La Monte Young's 275 Church Street loft in February, 1964. Start of Pre-Tortoise Dream Music, with new emphasis on drone. Young began to hold longer tones on the saxophone, Conrad and Cale began (at Tony Conrad's suggestion) amplifying their instruments with contact mics. Cale and Conrad had not yet developed the endurance that would characterize their later performances (as Dream Sydicate).
